The last couple of weeks have been testing for most people. I haven't updated the blog but can confirm that I am having to postpone the 100 miler for the foreseeable. I am looking to complete it later in the year. It's not ideal and very disappointing. We all have "bigger fish to fry" and as Delboy once said "it's just a dropped stitch in life's tapestry!!" I cannot thank Team Cato, Gil and Cathy my local Prostate Cancer UK contacts and Andy at Prostate Cancer UK in London for all their help, support, guidance and inspiration!!! It is a difficult one but PC UK need to safe guard their volunteers and I cannot ask my team to put themselves at risk. It has been strange not training in the gym on a morning but I used to train outdoors so I am managing. Although the hill sprints up 99 steps did take there toll this week and I would rather run 16 miles.
